PROBLEM
XF Falcon with smart lock system will not start, after 3 days of testing the following was found.
CAUSE
Some ford smart lock systems are linked to interior lights. If the car does not start check the smart lock light if it does not flash check the interior light is not blown. If the interior light is blown that will stop the smart lock system & stop the engine from starting.
CURE
Replace interior globe, insert the ignition key turn ignition on for 30 minutes to relearn the smart lock system.
